REGISTRATION
TO ENTER: By entering into the Tournament, you acknowledge and agree to all rules, policies, and procedures herein, including but not limited to an assumption of the risks associated with the Tournament, including risks related to communicable disease; and all other Rules, Policies, and Conditions of Entry.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Tuesday, November 29, 2023
ENTRY FEE / PAYMENT: All entry fees will be made directly to the school team's athletic director.

WAIVER: All participants in the competition must submit a signed waiver (from parent) upon registration. The Waiver is available here.
EQUIPMENT: Please bring your own equipment.
COMPETITION
EVENT: Team Stroke Play
HOLES PLAYED: 18 Holes (Red Tees)
FORMAT: Teams of 4 players (with all 4 scores of the team counting)
PAIRINGS FOR THE COMPETITION ROUND: Final Pairings will be confirmed after sign-ups are complete. 18 Bays for Competition Available (36 pax)
PACE OF PLAY: A simple rule is to set up quickly to your ball and then be prepared to play when it is your turn. Remember that all holes must be completed (there are no gimmies). The only exception is that if you have reached double par on a hole (ex. 6 on a par 3 or 8 on a par 4) where the hole will automatically end. Penalties will be automatically calculated on the Toptracer system. Player to keep the scorecards up to date as this.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all ISSFHK-affiliated secondary students, ages 11-20 years old (Golfers with a Handicap of 25 or more)

What is Toptracer?
Toptracer is the leading technology in golf for practice and entertainment. Toptracer technology gives you the ability to trace your shot angle, speed, spin, and distance. With the Toptracer App you can view your shots, select clubs, and view data to get the full picture. You can play in Practice Mode, or choose from a selection of game modes to play with friends.
RECOMMENDED: Have a practice session prior to the day to familiarize yourself with the Toptracer System.
ON THE DAY
1. Sign in at reception using your Student ID:

At least 60 minutes before tee time

Students must bring a valid school ID card

Go to your assigned bay (this will be assigned to you upon registration)
2. Give the competition official your details
-
You will be introduced to your playing partner
-
You will be presented with your scorecard
3. Warm-up
-
Bay will be shared with your playing partner
-
Bay will be open 30 minutes before tee time
4. Begin competition. You have 2 hours to complete your round.
5. Complete round and sign cards

Ensure both players have signed the card

Ensure the card correlates to the score entered in Toptracer
6. Hand in card to officials
UPON COMPLETION OF PLAY
Please proceed immediately to the nearest scoring table/PGA staff to turn in your scorecard. It is your responsibility to ensure that all cards are calculated and signed by both you and your scorer. PGA Development Staff will attend the scoring table. The medal presentation will take place 15-20 minutes following the compeletion of our last group. All students are expected to stay for the medal presentation.

To maximize playing time, players can set up their 9-hole round at the Virtual Pebble Beach Golf Links prior to the shotgun start at 10am.

We suggest you finish your warm-ups at least 5 mins early to allow yourself time to set up.

Make sure both players have signed in to the Toptracer System using their Toptracer Range Account.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

All players will install the Toptracer App at www.toptracer.com/app and register for an account / Toptracer Player Profile BEFORE the tournament.

All players will inform their Toptracer Player Profile upon arrival and check-in.
-
All players will play from the RED tee on the Pebble Bay Beach Golf Links at the Toptracer Range.
-
The use of a mulligan shot will automatically disqualify the golfer from the competition.
-
Any scorecards submitted without the signatures of both players will result in disqualification from the competition.

All golfers must be a student of an ISSFHK-affiliated school
(please ask your school’s Sports / PE department for qualification details). -
Players have been allotted 2 hours of playing time to complete the course.
-
Players should prepare their clubs before entering the bay to keep better time.
-
Players should keep their wedges accessible as all holes end with a pitch into a target zone.

As amazing as the Toptracer system is, there could be an occasional false read. If you believe there is a false read, please refer to the below:
Agree with your playing partner that there was in fact a bad read, which may constitute:

Picking up a shot from the adjacent bay

Ball ricochet leading to a misread bounce
*On your scorecard, there will be a misread section where you can write down any misread shots.
